The Panasonic AW-UE160KEJ is a 4K PTZ camera with a high-sensitivity 1-inch MOS sensor. It has a high sensitivity (F14/2000 lx), comparable to a studio camera, and uses a new image processing engine that is also used in LUMIX cameras. The camera offers numerous functions, including phase detection autofocus (PDAF) for fast focusing on moving subjects.

The AW-UE160 has a 20x zoom, an optical low-pass filter to minimize moiré on LED/LCD panels and integrated optical and electrical image stabilization. It can output 4K video via 12G-SDI or HDMI and optionally in the SMPTE ST2110 standard via the SFP+ output. The camera supports 5G routers for wireless 4K video data transmission.

The PTZ camera offers high image quality with low latency via NDI and NDI|HX for real-time transmissions. The SRT video transmission protocol ensures security and is suitable for unstable network environments, while RTMP and RTMPS are available for direct live streaming to platforms such as YouTube Live and Facebook Live. The AW-UE160KEJ can be controlled via the PTZ Control Center using a computer or optional control panels and is powered by either DC 12V or PoE++ via an Ethernet cable.
